what is wrong with people

Problem is the judges are lawyers too. I live in Madison co IL, where you can sue anyone for anything and win. :(

come on people, it says she hit a pole at 45, the only reason you hit a pole at 45 is because your so damn high the pole jumped out in front of you, and as for her friend, she had better insurance..once they soak the insurance company they will both be sipping margi's and eating lobster in Bufadora

i saw it and thought to myself; self, if i ever see an accident i may call 911. odds are i'll just keep going and deny ever seeing it.

This is why I try to not help people whenever possible. Next ill probably hear a story about someone getting sued for not trying hard enough to help someone.

I'm going to start suing people for filing ridiculous law suits and irritating me.

I smell Class Action suit!!! I'm in! :26:

just wait untill word gets out that Stecz has been serving cheap chinese Kool-aid with lead in it, the lawsuits are going fly!

Ok, I'll admit I skipped a lot of class in law school so I could work at a bar, get drunk and sleep with college girls, but I sort of though you needed to have a plantiff to file a law suit... So, its my thinking that in addition to a scumbag lawyer, you also need a scumbag plaintiff (the girl who's suing her friend) in order to have a law suit like this.

I know that a lot of these ambulance chasers go out looking for plaintiffs, but it's still the "injured party" that ultimately decides to file the law suit.

Sort of like "guns don't kill people, people kill people..."

It's a bigger issue than the lawyers. We live in a society of dirtbags and losers who'd steal from their own dog if they thought they'd get money out of it...

And you really want to see how ugly the ambulance chasing business is... ejoy: http://www.philalawyer.net/

You have a good point but it is the lawyers that take the case. If they had integrity they would tell the wanna be plaintiff to take a hike and stop wasting the legal systems time.

As far as the guns analogy, guns do not have the ability to see right or wrong, they are solely at the hands of the user. Lawyers on the other hand are supposed to have the ability to determine right from wrong unless you are saying lawyers are brainless and can not make a decision for themselves and only do what they are told.
