Official Black Thunder owner bashing thread

Haven't heard any today, and I haven't seen any deer for a while either! :smash::sifone:

Thought of the day, old hens would rather put out then be put out to pasture, and the older they get, the easier they are to pick up...... :biggrinjester:

Just thinking out loud :smash:

Hey, most young hens could learn a thing or two from a "seasoned" hen..... lmao :seeya::rofl::smash::bump::hurray:

And since this is a boating forum, I figured I'd throw in some stuff about the boat as well. Got these in the mail today! roughly 1400cfm a piece. :driving::eek::sifone: The pull on these is so smooth. Bo Laws did a great job on the external linkage setup. If anyone needs carb parts, upgrades, or totally new carbs, I highly recommend them. www.blp.com

Update on the BLP carbs for anyone who is browsing these threads that is curious.

Overall, we were pleased with the performance of these carbs. It took longer than we would have liked to get them dialed in, and they still aren't exactly perfect, but they were a big step up over the holleys. The holleys were just done flowing fuel at around 1450hp (metering blocks were done). The BLP carbs look they have no end in sight (much improved BLP billet metering blocks). With our new intercoolers and carbs, its just a matter of where we decide to stop with pulleys in terms of HP. :reddevil::smash:

New Vee bottom record???????:sifone:

lol, yeah, just let me switch universes here for a second.... lol :sifone::seeya: Dyno racing is fun, but the truth of the matter is, the #6's can only take so much. Probably going to stick them back in the boat at around 1300hp.

Not to get off Gay but are you boat shopping at all?

Of course i am but i am also in the process of a move and going thru all those headaches right now. Not sure what i will be in but im guessing that it will have a beak on it this time :willy_nilly: unless i find a good deal on a BT.

Now with that said, Sax and John will soon be asking me if it was as good a deal as my last one and probably post pix...., but this is the bashing thread.... see edit below
