Use a cam with 112 or 114 LSA to help prevent reversion, and install an oil temp. gauge if possible

There was also a man killed in the Ohio River in Southern Indiana couple weeks ago, somehow he got into the prop, bad deal.

on my 540 cu. in. engines they run 15 to 17 psi, when up & running, it seems to be very adequate for cooling, at idle my gauges barely show any pressure, but I have alot of exhaust water at idle, you don't want too much psi or you will start blowing hoses.

I would check the strainer for blockage first.

I guess i'm lucky, my 35 takes it as fast as the pump will run, what scares me is the total $ when it shuts off.

I did the same thing last weekend, laid down $360, but we had a real good time, i have a little left for this weekend.

Thanks for info. on using the rope tied between the cleats, it works great, really no good place for a ladder anyway, while it was raining everyday in May, I tuned the engines, adjusted the carbs., she is running really sweet now.

They have a very impressive operation, all boats are inside, nice & clean , I went to them last summer just to look at a nice 35 Fountain, and bought it before I left their office , I realized there was no need to look any further, very nice to deal with.

Apparently, ADD is also known to cause C.I. Disorder, the uncontrollable desire for more Cubic Inches,, it's killing me, I started many years ago with 396, then 427, then 454, then 502, and now 540 ,what's next.
