I went back to Castrol, which I used for years with no problems before Mobile 1 came out.

Mobil has decided to stop packaging performance grade 20w-50 oil in the 5L jugs. Apparently they do not think the performance market is worth providing cost effective and convient packaging for. Please join me in boycotting all Mobil 1 products until they reverse their decision. Thanks - Greg

I read the manual for the waterwitch conductivity sensor switch and it says it won't work well with rain water, which is what I need the bilge pumps for most, so that is a no-go. I presume all the other conductivity sensor switches will have the same limitation?

If I have to go back to a pump with a separate water sensor what is a good non-float switch sensor?

Who makes a good bilge pump? I had another Rule computer 2000 pump die, just 1 year old. That's my last Rule pump (pretty sad considering the company I work for owns Rule). Who makes a good reliable no-float pump? Thanks - Greg

I put a new stereo in the boat that supports an (internally docked) IPOD, the Fusion IP-600. Love the stereo, especially the remote which is mounted at the helm. I need to get my own IPOD (and stop borrowing my wife's and daughters) and was wondering if anyone has experinece with which model...

Just wanted to see if others are having recurring issues with the Verado FSM float switch. Had both mine replaced about 100 hrs/2 seasons ago with the then latest (Generation -3?) model. Had one die again on first "attempted" run of the season. Wondering if this is going to become routine...

To keep your cover from staining/wearing on the upholstery try lining the inside of it with the material from a hihg-end car cover (I think it is called Noah fabric). Mine were made that way and it works great at protecting the white upholstery. -Greg

I don't know but it sounds intimdating. I have to admit I have never been able to get her to wash my car, the $ isn't impressive enough. I ordered my new buffer, doubt it will last another 40 years. I'll see if they are up for the fall waxing. -Greg
