I am looking for 3 Sea Strainers, I would settle for a pair if I can find a 3rd to match. I might also need 3 pop off valves.

I suppose the key could have been left on but in that case would it not register in the 0-1999 RPM range? There is .1hrs on the 4200-4699 RPM range and nothing after that. The boat hour meter reads 230hrs, the ECM scaned 111, 100 & 113 total hrs and the run log hours 60.4, 55.5 & 63.7

When you get a mercury ECU scaned is there any reason that the total recorded hours and the RPM break down hours don't match??? In other words if say the total run time hours = 100 and the RPM break down hours equal say 60 is this normal or is something going on??

I have only had my 40 out a hand ull of times since I bought it two years ago. I had the motors worked on last year and what started out as a 2 month rebuild ended up taking 4 1/2 months. Not a happy camper, hind sight is 20/20. I just bought a new to me set of 34 bravo 1 props I need to try...

That is a nice looking boat, i see him quite often in the Clinton/Princeton area. I saw that boat at the tug fest and it had a bunch of young guys in it, maybe a son??

He will be happy with his new trailer, they are well built and rigged nicely. I ordered one two years ago for my 40 OUTLAW and I couldn't be happier.

I am at a stand still with these new bearings, don't know if I should use them or not? :confused:

I ordered a new set of gimbal bearings for a pair of XR Drives, the part # was for Mercury red dot bearing but I got a white dot bearing. All the measurements are the same on the new & the old bearing, the only difference is the new bearing is a sealed bearing and the old bearing is a greaseable...

I was told by an out drive specialest not to run Amsoil gear lube in a out drive that has been rebuilt(new gears & bearings). He said to run mercury gear lube in it for the first 6-8hrs for break in time so the bearings & gears will "wear in". He said running Amsoil in a freshly rebuilt out...

Looking to buy a trim cylinder for Bravo, I need 1 trim cylinder, will buy a pair if I have to. I just need the shell and cap, not all the internal stuff.

There is some concern that the stock closed cooling system might not be sufficient for long hard runs. I could get a larger heat Xchanger but that gets expensive, besides that I think the motors will look cleaner with out the extra cooling system parts up front.
