The Dems need to win the mid term elections or the socialist agenda is dead. The fed will be pumping money into the system like crazy. To keep the money here they'll have to raise interest rates. Raise in rates will kill cheap money and plunge the U.S into a recession. Don't pump the markets up...

Hi Ho's!!!! That cute little girl actress Shirley Temple has died. One of the American channels we got growing up played a lot of old movies from the 30's and 40's. Her movies amongst them. Never picture her as old, but she was 85.

At least here we don't have many things touristy. Took American friends to the botanical gardens and high tea at the Empress Hotel. That was kind of fun.

Hi Ho's!!!! That was the pain in the ass of living in Arizona. Having people visit and having to do all this tourist crap with them got old. Did Sedona a few times, Rawhide 1880's town thingy, Nogales Mexico, etc. Got old fast.

Long term real estate has been good. But I don't see it growing like that in the future. House was also waterfront. A regular family home in that area was $80K in 82 and now around $850K. Top of the market, so see a pull back in real estate here.

I don't consider real estate as an investment. Return is not so great. It is a good place to park cash and gives you a place to live. Our real estate has been booming the last few years. But I bought at the top of the market and the market hasn't changed much in the last 5 years since buying. I...
