19.5 direct fit 05 to 08 F350 dually wheels/tires

I sold my 06 Ford F350 dually last month and kept the 19.5 Brentz Classic wheels with tires off of it,they fit 05 to 08 Ford F350 duallies,these are the sh*t for a dually for towing,,the tires are 265/70r19.5 Michelin XDE+2's and the wheels are Alcoa blanks with lugs/center caps. I tried the 22.5's with adapters and was very unhappy with pretty much everything about them, they totally ruined the ride/drivability/brakes of my truck, along with the fact that the adapters weighed in at 37 lbs apiece and you couldn't balance that much weight along with the tires/wheels so I lost my azz and dumped them...The 19.5's are the answer between looks and functionality.

I did the 22.5 thing on my Ford dually as well, hated them and went to 19.5's. Also had a set of Rickson 19.5's on my SRW Ford F350 for a while.

I was actually TRYING to deal with Rickson when I bought these,,but after being put off 3 different times for a month to month and a half at a time, I got p*ssed and bought the 22.5's (I shoulda waited) called Rickson back after I dumped the 22.5's and lost my azz and they started the same crap again,,,nice enough people, but that didn't get me back on the road,,they need to get their sh*t together,,Looked around some more and found Brentz Wheels,,called them, explained the problem and had wheels in 4 days, I went with the Michelins I had originally wanted when I started this mess and have been happy ever since..A business decision (my accountant) had me trade the dually off last month so I could have a bigger write off for this year.
Next time I'll follow my instincts and knowledge instead of my short temperdness.

No they won't fit an 04,Ford changed the bolt pattern when they went to the coil spring front suspension,,strictly 05 to 08 Ford F350 dually and with the height of the tires,,(app 34.5) probably needs to be a 4x4. or at least a lifted 4x2(who'd want to)

Good question.I just ordered a set of 22.5's for my F-450.

The adapters weigh damn near 37lbs each, almost impossible to get balanced because of the adapter weight, pretty well kills the braking ability, especially towing the boat(to much rolling mass),, hard on the driveline components, especially front hub/bearing assemblies at 500.00 each, improper spacing on the rear duals make them look like a spider coming down the road and throw rocks and crap all over the sides of your truck,,no one wants to work on them if you have a problem short of going to a truck shop,,,which isn't always conveinent when traveling...Thats pretty good for starters, along with the fact most dealers don't want to warranty any driveline problems when you show up with them on your truck,,,the first thing out of their mouth is that they weren't designed to fit your vehicle and cause undue strain on the parts.
These are my personal opinions from personal experience/observation and wasting alot of my money and time.

i hear both sides of the story.. ihave some buddies that love em and i have some buddies that hate them.... the biggest reason is, you have to have a truck tire place do the work on them.... i love them.. think they look great... some easy upgrades to the breaks can offset some of the break wear.. the breaks on a 350 are sh it anyway. i bought a 450 in 04 cause i knew what to expect about a 350 when towing heavy loads... 350, 22.5 and beef up the breaks and you should be good.. just dont expect to get a factory ride its going to ride like a truck....

The ones I ordered are a direct bolt on that don't need adapters.I hope that will help with the balancing issues.I am hoping the ride will be better or at least quieter.The factory tires on my 450 are stupid loud.I have also heard that it will drop my ratio to about 4:10 to 3:73.

I hadn't seen or heard of direct fit 22.5's yet, who's making them? That in itself would go a long way towards curing some of the complaints I had when I tried them,,and your right Stecz, the F450 should have better brakes, which would also help.
