Fred Thompson on the Economy

He could be telling it to congress if his lazy ass would have jumped in the race when Obama did.

Serously though, I wish someone could actually provide a solution rather than bashing what's going on currently and Monday morning QB'ing. My personal solution has been to lock-down on spending, pay off debt, zero credit card balances and cutting anything uneccessary right now. Battening down the hatches and getting ready to ride out the storm... I've "stimulated the economy" for far too long......

He did jump into the race way too late.
 
I would feel alot better about the future if he would have REALLY ran for president.

My personal solution is to spend everything I have and then some, and then wait for "The One" to bail me out. If that doesen't work I am going to live on Bobcat's couch. :D
 
I'm afraid of the exact opposite. Most likely Obama won't drive the economy deeper- he's not Jimmy Carter and fundamentally the economy has the ability to right itself with the correct nudges. That makes him the Savior and dooms us to a string of mediocre democrats over the next couple of decades.
