Raced:
24 Skater
30 Chris Cat
21 Superboat

Crashed:
21 Superboat - Actually not sure if I crashed or the guy in front of me in the 22 Velocity. He got tossed and I ran him over.

24 Skater - Spun in New Orleans. Stuffed really bad in Grand Haven. That was the career ender.

Fortunately I never got tossed out or tossed anybody riding with me. Maybe I never pushed hard enough.

It still doesn't qualify, but in a 15 year carreer racing desert, I think I have taken enough soil samples to qualify for a job with the US Geological Society...

Robert, I loved those 21's and 22 Velocities. They were river monsters. You run them when the winds blowing in the bay. Skipping and dancing in the swells. Fun Fun.

Every now and then you would push it to hard. Well. Every time. Many times came back feeling real lucky. Sometimes with a lesson in respect.

How about jumping out of the boat on purpose? Looked cool on Baywatch. The learing curve kinda hurts though.

Got get the angle of entry down ,it was a game we played when we were young and dumb and we had not hurt ourselves hard enough waterskiing.

you were just trying to jettison all the ballast.... and you left out that we still won and kept the interior in the boat. I credit the 20' kill switch tether/ski rope, it allowed me the freedom to wander around the cockpit as need be during the race.

Only took 14 months for my toe nail to grow out correctly. :toetap05:

38 Nortech

40 Fountain
