Day 10? Can't get myself to press play. How about a short summery?

Guy in Texas bought the boat. https://www.seanoteyachtclub.com/

They had trailer/cradle trouble and didn't want to drop it so they stopped to fix the trailer and three snow storms hit. They got it out just enough before the lake froze hard. They broke light ice at the beginning. Now the lake supports snowmobiles. They had a crane on standby but the crane guys felt like the cradle had the load once the cradle was reinforced and everything strapped together. They got a break in the weather last Thursday and they got it out using a huge wrecker pulling on the small semi tractor. Pulled it up to the parking lot to reset with jack stands. Being moved a small distance for the winter. Owner got ticketed every day it blocked ramp. Workers hated video guy until he bought them pizza. Boat appears to be undamaged by the move. Winter in Minnesota sucks. More snow on the way. Not a very summery summary.

Day 15
Getting local news attention
Owners, former owners, new owners, marina owners; all getting to tell stories

Sure seems like an awful expensive mess

I think the one paid guy from the boat moving company (the rest were volunteers) kept it from becoming more expensive by making sure the cradle held it. I think he had the boat under his control, just not the weather. (As evidenced by the fact that when the weather broke they moved it.) Getting the boat to the ramp so late (there is video of them breaking ice on the lake with the CC) did the mover no favors. In the end, they only blocked the ramp for the short time between when boats stop using it and snowmobiles start. Seems to have ended well. According to the locals on the videos, a pressure ridge of ice always grows in that spot and the snowmobiles have a blind hill, so the ramp has to be clear for the sleds. I picture it as a frozen haulover cut. :)
