Laguardia to Charlotte. Rescue boats are out and ferry boats. Looks like it is floating and they are pciking people from the river

hope they get everyone out. Water must be icy. Looks like the pilot did a good job. He hit a flock of geese and aimed for the river.

I was listening to a talk radio station when this happened, and they were saying that they think they hit a flock of geese taking out both engines, they don't think it was a terrorist act, but they were not ruling it out.
WTF??
I suddenly had the scene from the Indiana Jones movie with Sean Connery running along the beach scaring seagulls with an umbrella running through my mind. Only he had a towel on his head:rofl:
