Trailer tires?

OK, sounds like the recommendations are against using these.
I'm kind of in a spot.
I'm VERY likely going to need to haul a long distance very soon.
The 14"s on it are shot, so I should just go to 15"s and be done with it.
I want to do this in one quick shot, order it, and bolt it up.
Looking for a new residence 1200miles away at the moment is taking precedence over properly shopping for trailer wheels. As well as tightening up a few things around the current residence to put on the market.
As long as I'm going to do it, might as well get some nice looking rims.
Point and shoot suggestions??

Hey Tim,

I learned alot last night googling trailer rims and tires.

I also found these, which exactly match what I have and will be my spares. I liked what I saw on this site:

I really like the 12 hole "modular" and I believe that they are 2100 pound rated or so a piece. Clearly trailer designed.

Those would work great. And look good.
Not sure what you mean by the "modular" 12 hole - what am I missing??
I need a 5-lug. 2 5/8" oc lug pattern.

Modular is the style with the little circle cutouts. Vs. Spoke, for example.

I see many 10 hole. I have 12 hole. You can get them with tires on them or no. You can get them in chrome too.

2 5/8" oc?

Jsut don't get "carlisle" tires.. Carlisle is the tire I blew last year and did the flip.
I would also go with the 15's.

This is what a Carlisle tire can and most likely will look like after use , And they only had 1400 miles on them . :cuss:

The marathons I have seem to be holding up good, but the boat isn't that heavy. I lost a carlyle on my last trailer within a year of buying it. Probably had less than 1000 miles on it.
