How much do you need and what size cable? I collect it from work and have quite a bit, black and clear. Some of it even has a heat activated adhesive inside, works great for keeping the sheath from pulling back from the terminal.

I was hoping for red, probably about number 2.

Thanks though.

Thanks for the online ideas Dave and Sean.
Thanks for the input everybody.

I am going to try the local NAPA store after work and see what they have.

I figure I need a couple of feet of it.

I have quite a bit too, red or black, adhesive lined, all the way up to 2" dia unshrunk. Make sure you get the adhesive lined stuff as it keeps the moisture out of the bare wires.

I sent you a PM with my number. I can send you what you need as soon as you call. NC except for the shipping.

Typical expanded vinyl heat shrink isn't likely to do the job well. The local place that makes up cabling for me uses a bonding rubber. It's fairly thick and chemical resistant. And it has the adhesive liner that bonds it. And from the looks of it, it shrinks more than the vinyl's 2:1.
