Aren't they installing something at a space station to purify urine and turn it into drinking water?

That is what the shuttle took off to do this time... Though one of my military buds says you can only drink your stuff three times in a row..without water it starts becoming toxic... Not sure if it true but i am taking his word and hoping that i never find have to find out.
