More Obama lies??????

Oh sh1t! I'm gonna have to read that later. A bit buzzed now. If it says what I think it says, I'm actually gonna charge a few pricey guns and pay them off over time. Seriously thought about buying a .50 cal yesterday while I still could! I almost never carry a personal debt other than a mortgage, but.....

Scary times..... I've acquired quite a few new guns in the last couple months. This is a good time to stock up on ammo too...

I will have a new AR by the end of the week. I bought an XD45 laste week. Buying these guns is cutting into m motor build for the boat though. ;)

I picked up a new XD-45 last week as well. I've put a couple hundred rounds through it at the range so far. Excellent gun for the price! Also built up another AR and looking to do a couple more before new years.

I've got the 4" XD40 and love it. Have put a couple thousand rounds through it so far and never a problem.

It just pisses me off so much when he was running the adds about being pro 2nd ammendment when I knew that he would be killing us with new regulations once he got in. I thought he stood for change guys!!! More of the same old lieing politicians.

On the 50, check ammo prices. The milsurp bargains are gone.

I think they're going to have a battle on their hands this time. The recent Supreme Court decision on the DC handgun ban is a bellwether event. It signals this court's willingness to settle the RKBA issue once and for all.

Unfortunately those gun purchases are mostly speculative- made by people looking to profit if and when a ban takes effect.

Frankly, I'd like to see restriction on gun show purchases. I'm in plenty of gun shops and I've seen more than a few unsavory charachters being turned down as a result of a background check. I've also seen way too many of these same charachters walking into gun shows and indiscriminately buying firearms without anything more than a cursory inspection or attempt to negotiate price. I don't believe in firearm registration, but I do believe in ownership restriction.

Depends on what you're looking for. Fin, Fur & Feather in Ashland probably has the best inventory and good pricing. With the advent of the internet, the local gun shop has a hard time competing.

You couldnt get near the counter of fin feather & fur a few weeks ago becase it was so packed.

Seriously, look online, Ive purchased several guns for far cheaper than I could from a local shop, thats even after factoring the shipping and transfer fees.

www.gunbroker.com
www.gunsamerica.com are good places to start. If your looking for RRA AR stuff, then Pete at Legal Transfers has about the cheapest prices you will find period, the only kicker is Rock River is 13 to 18 weeks out on most everything right now.

Rguns.net is a good source for DPMS products

Gunbroker and gunsamerica have become a haven for scams. You need to look carefully at the person you're about to do business with.

In regards to the .50 - thanks. Kind of expected that. Thats why I invested in reloading equipment, shells, etc. years ago. ;) Hard to believe I have still yet to reload one shell yet. Old-timers warned me about what happened in the 70's - so I spent a grand on a simple, but nice set up - just in case. Glad I did!

I did the rounds on 'Black Friday', when I was down at my parents, hit Sportsman's Den then swung over to Fin. Both places were packed! Although Sportsmans Den had quite a few AR mags left (and even a few AR's), selling for $20 a piece. I picked up a few, I've hit about a dozen places the last few weeks, the AR's are still out there and from I've seen not priced any higher than they were last year when I bought one. They aren't jacking up the prices like everybody on Gunbroker is. I thought I found what I was looking for at Fin, but it was a .204, not a .308 :(. I'll probably hit both places again on my way back down tomorrow to finish out gun season with the ol' man. I think I've given up on the complete .308 for now, probably just pick up a couple stripped AR lowers and maybe a stripped 308 lower and call it good for now until the dust settles.

Judging from some of the prices Ive been seeing reccently on stripped lowers you would be better off just buying a complete rifle. On the AR mags, Midway's December flyer has Stoner mags for $9.99 for both 20 and 30rnd.

Where are you hunting down this way?
