Anyone on the board have Manheim Auto Auction accesss? We could really use a set of eyes to look at a car for us at the Baltimore-Washington auction on Tuesday. Would appreciate it.

You need somebody to look at it in person? If you go to manheim online most of the cars they have detailed descriptions, condition ratings, etc, all done by Manheim. They are usually pretty good about disclosing condition, damage, etc.

I'm not anywhere near Baltimore but if you want to look at the car online let me know.

I need someone to look at the car. This car does not have a condition report. I will buy it on Simulcast if someone can look at it for me.

I have it and will be at the sale on tuesday. My brother is the general mgr there let me know.

Do you think you could look at a car for me? It's a 1999 BMW M3 Coupe Silver with 79k miles. Run # is 8-31. It belongs to Castle Ford. Let me know, I'd really appreciate it! The car is for LS-3.

Steve that is a better car than the black M3 Bobby has/had.... I had both body styles and liked the old one better than the new one. Watch the radiator neck and waterpump, both are frequent problems on that car. LS-3 is living the dream!

Bobby no problem I will put your number in my phone and call you tues morning. My number is 301-580-2779 and my name is Geoff Wanamaker

I know, but I only had two minor issues with my '02, I'm looking for another too. Our mechanic has a E36 stage 2 turbo, it puts down 440whp...it's rediculous!

Thanks Geoff, if the car is nice you'll put a smile on my brother's face!

LS 3 is old enough to drive now???

Nice E36's are very hard to find! They had a blue one about a year ago at Manheim Fort Lauderdale which is the color he really wants but at the time "putting a car away for a year" was a bit crazy. Should have bought it, we've only seen one other nice one since. Oh well......

95's have the 3.0 motor and no OBD II and Avus blue was a popular color that year....96-99 had the 3.2 motor (5 hp more I think) and estoril (lighter blue) was available.

They are very tough to find clean, unwrecked and not modded like fast and furious!

last week on eBay, the blue So Cal 95 car , one owner, low miles... try and find it if you can, it didn't meet reserve... unbelievably perfect and 100% original.... interior was a perfect 10, exterior was a 8.5-9

Yep, this is true. He wants a 96-99 with the 3.2L. Here is a pic of our mechanic's E36 which is a '97.

As JS said, 95's have the 3.0, he's looking for a 96-99 with the 3.2L. Estroil Blue is his #1 choice which is a lighter blue but he's getting less picky as the days go on :D

there was a Avus 95 with linen interior for like 14K with less than 40K miles for sale out there about 6 months ago on ebay.....if the car was east coast I would have bought it.

The red/yellow/white cars can have paint oxidation issues. My wife had a yellow one that was hard to keep bright yellow as it aged. We bought the car used for 25K with 28K miles (3 years old, new MSRP was 34K) and sold it for 22K with 55k on it to a Saudi kid that only wanted a 95, non OBD car. It went off to Central FL to get modded to the max.....kid had no brains but a pocket full of money!
