Drive options for a 38 T/S Top Gun

Hey all,

A friend of mine bew a drive his last run out :ack2:. He was curios about replacing with shorties. Any one out there with real world experience with this hull & different drives? Pleas respond.

I heard that the shorties don't work well with no notch in the transom, Kramer tried it on the Cafe, thats one thing people told him.

The X is already pretty high on T/S Guns. I doubt -2's would work, maybe -1's??? Tres would know best.

all the Bravo style foots have about the same guts, Imco has one that has larger gears ,but I think ya have to buy the upper also?
