A business associate's husband is days away from passing.
The family has two 20 something year old boys with zero interest in his Handgun/Rifle/Shotgun Collection .

How does one sell this collection as soon as possible?

Is there a way of selling it all to one entity ?

The guns are in Toronto area.

Not wanting to offend, but the question has to be asked.

Are the two sons gay? That's the only reason I can think of for them not wanting the guns.

Shipping? Just tell me where they are, and I will drive there today! :D

Crossing back into the US... Do you have anything to declare? Uh, no officer! :p

stop at the border?? if it gets any colder you can just play ice road trucker and bypass the checkpoint all together.

Donate them to the States that actually kill the smucks on death row. Have the victims siblings to select the weapon of there choice and shoot the F...er's. My opinion in the holiday spirit....

If times wern't what they are, I'd look closely at them. An auction might be best. Too many crooks out there.

http://www.gunbroker.com/ the EBAY for guns!

Wonder why they need to be sold "as soon as possible"?

because if the gentleman passes away without willing them to an individual with a firearms permit they will be confiscated and destroyed. Guns in canada must be registered. :(

I am 24 years old and I drew up a will just to deal with my guns in the unlikely scenario wherein I stuff my Pantera into a giant wave and go up to the great big strip club in the sky.

As a former firearms dealer, i can tell you that you don't want them sold in one batch. That's the best way for a dealer to take advantage. Just like selling a boat, you will be better off selling to an individual collector vesrus a dealer. The dealer needs to mark it up to resell it. Best advice is to do a whole lot of research on the values. If these are collectors pieces you really don't want to sell too cheap, because they most likely can't be replaced.
