:iagree:This way you don’t have to deal with all those damn choices you have when you shop early! These is about 1/3 the stuff on the shelves. It saves a ton of time!

I go on the eve of the big day. Hit the auto parts store were they get me good and drunk on egg nog and then hit the malls. Done in about 2 hours if that and walla. I drive by the largest mall in our area almost daily and it has not been full lots at all.

Wife does almost all the shopping. The shopping I have to do is usually done online so I don't have to leave the house.

Its real simple for me, giftcards all around: Petsmart for my son, Cord Camera for mom, World Wide Sportsman for dad, and ......some tripple X outlet in southern GA for the missus. I love traveling for holidays.

Hit the local mall last night about 6pm. Parked 3 spots from the entrance. The place was EMPTY.

Christmas with my family is easy and awesome. Catered dinner. Everyone gets/gives 3 envelopes. There is only 4 of us still alive so you get all your cash back.
