Hi Ho's!!! Doing a Costco run this afternoon. Found out the other day my uncle has cancer. Has surgery scheduled in 3 months and then chemo. Slow process for treatment the prognosis is not good!!! Might visit him in the next few days with my Dad.

Not the uncle with cancer another one passed away yesterday. It was a great uncle by marriage and I haven't seen them in years. His wife my aunt passed away about this time last year. Both in their 80's, so not a surprise.

Morning guys. Fire crackling in the wood stove , coffee brewing, oats simmering. Got about 5 hours of work to do onsite today then back to the ranch and do some more carpentry and maybe try to locate a septic tank pump out. Art tour yesterday was even larger that I had anticipated. There were a couple of fantastic studios but most were converted garages/basements/sheds etc. - amazingly nice folks who spent a lot of time answering my newbie questions about technique, process and tools - actually pretty fun.

Hi Ho's!!! Had the septic tank pumped out twice in two years. First guy did everything. Second guy wanted help locating the tank and digging it out. He pumped it out and left without covering the hole. Wasn't impressed with him at all.

Twice in two yrs sound like a lot. Is everything working on your system?
I was told mine is good for 4-5 yrs between pump outs.
I'll just pump it every presidential election year

Got the family special at an Italian restaurant last night, 2 medium 3 topping pizza's, 2 pasta dishes and salad $41. Saved the pasta for tonight, ravioli and lasagna. Pretty good deal to get two meals out of it. Not sure what happened but a few years ago the cops found a marijuana grow op on the restaurant owners property.
