Ian (Patriyacht) left his thermostats off of his coolers, and we run similar power (at least at the time we did, I heard he repowered) and run similar water temps so I left mine off too. I wonder if that was a mistake, or if I really needed coolers for my use. He runs them pretty hard because it is a big ass boat. I don't push them that hard, because it hasn't been necessary. I cruise a lot at 3000-3200. But I have twins. I go above 4000 every time I go out, but I don't spend hours there. My problem seems to be keeping temp. Not shedding it. That lake is cold for a long time. And then it is like 70
degrees. Ian runs his at like 5600. :):driving:

We ran into them at Clinch Marina this summer. They were docked next to us.

Got a little nuts in my hood tonite... several sleds and a side by side thru the ice, a sled hit a dock at the yacht club killing 2, couple miles up the road the found the guy on the bottom that went thru riding an atv a couple days ago....

Damn. I heard about them finding the guy off Stony Point.

We talked about snowmobiles hitting docks when Tommy Duquette hit that dock a couple years ago with the jet boat. :(

Had to deal with that one to many times. Respect the ice and stay the hell off it. Ice is like a boat, best delt with sober.
