Rumor has it that Coast Guard says no racing if sustained winds are 20mph. RWO says they are sanctioned for 25mph. I’m sure Rat will separate fact from fiction. :sifone: TIA Paul.

The highest sustained winds forecast are 17mph both days. Straight from the east both days. If that's accurate, it will be a fairly flat race because the island will block the wind, like Boden says.

I think the United States Coast Guard would be wise to stand down.

As a sign of solidarity, I will tee off into a 20mph headwind today and not complain.
