Official... raise your post count thread!!

I brought my Chris Craft home from Milwaukee through Chicago in a snowstorm with a 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive pickup.
And took the Skyway bridge. :o

Can't remember whether up or down was more terrifying.
A good customer had a 30ft ? Chris Craft offshore boat. It was all dark brown. He sold it a couple years ago. That boat was a barn queen. I never saw it leave his pole barn. It was in awesome shape, but setting for 25 years I believe would be a killer.

Good luck with the demo

Happy Friday
Enjoy the weekend

Thank you. I think I am going to drill a hole where my cuts will meet and score it as deep as I can with the Metabo. If I am not through it yet... Mr. Sledge and Mr. Spud Bar. Maybe a strategic Hilti-zation. Then there is the air chisel.
Have a good weekend.

You can look at the menu but you just can't BAMM!

I think Howard Jones wrote a Song in the 80's...."No One is too Bamm"

I think Your on the right track. Score it with the Grinder, Then Chip it out, there might be some Road Mesh (Wire Fence) in it.

Use a Simpson Post Anchor in at least 18" deep hole. That way if the Post rots, or is run into, You can unbolt it and stick in a new one.

Do You Guys use Sonotube ? Keeps the Frost from lifting the Concrete.

I have a feeling that Chocolate Brown Metal Flake is going to make a strong comeback next Summer...Look for Outerlimits to lead the way...

2 inch schedule 40 galvanized, baby. Double chain link gate.

We go down minimum 36 inches. For structural 4x4 or 6x6 we use biscuits at the bottom of the hole. Lots of guys put bolts in the post below ground for anchors.

Then it's back to Screwing in the Pickets....

Going to try and Float the Paddleboard this Week....

Looks like Rain Today...

Hmmm. Have been looking at Goodyear Endurance (USA) to replace my Goodyear Marathon (China) and the 205 size is 8 ply, the 225 size is 10 ply.

Haven't shopped trailer tires in a while...

Batteries are bad enough, or expensive enough, anyways

Welcome to a new week, ENJOY
