Friday Nights Moon..

I was not able to get a good pic. I cartooned this one. And it still didn’t give the real size of the moon coming up. Friday night was the best night of boating for the 2022 season.

Heading South in a bit....It was a fantastic Moon...Last Night was even better, but I walked down to thew Beach to have a Cigar...and didn't even have My Phone.

Last Thursday and Friday mornings moon was big around me.
Not so much today.
Cloudy and higher in the sky.

I laid block today for the first time in my life. 20 blocks. Three corners. It looks good (enough) but it kicked my ass. All I could think all day is "how does Bobcat do it?" I have the arm, hand and shoulder strength, but my back is wrecked. I have about 10 to go. Not today, Mr. Block. Not today.

I averaged 15 minutes per block with my neighbor running a saw in my ear, mixing me up runny mortar, and asking questions nonstop like a 4 year old on crack. That neighbor lived in the keys for two years and was running the saw wearing sandals so I figure it was like Key West Block.

Did you know that Padre Island is the world's longest barrier island? Longer than all the keys combined!

We were actually considering there when we were looking. But ended up in Florida....

Good morning . We drove out here to San Antonio for our 40th anniversary. If I was done with boats I would love to find a place around Padre Island. The beach is just amazing.
