Remember that block I laid last week? This is why.

10x16 "shed" with 8 foot ceilings, 16 on center. 2x8 headers. I designed it, made the trusses during the week then built it on Sunday with neighbor. Roof, windows and siding today. Then doors.

Has it's own 120V circuit and speaker wires (UW/burial) from the house, trowel finish concrete floor (5" thick with footer and rat wall) full size exterior steel man door, 6 foot wide, 7 foot tall steel roll up on end facing my boat pad. Shingles will match house. Two single hung windows with screens. Will have electric heat, lights, motion detectors, a camera and be connected to the house alarm system. Garage picked up natural gas heat and new insulated doors for winter. The garage will be my shop. Shed will be storage/garden/flammables/tools. They are connected by a 20 foot path door to door.
