IMO watching from the mole sucked this year. Too many golf carts granted access, at least a hundred of them, too many none boating related vendors and less bleachers than years past. Basically felt like RWO is trying to squeeze out the real racing fans and only interested in the almighty $$$$. 22 years straight for me and I’ve had more fun with SBI in charge.

Last year I pulled my golf cart up near the edge next to a IV hydration station. It was crowded for sure.
Too many people everywhere, doesn't matter where you go these days. Ugh.

Rumor has it, that when it was SBI the City gave the Mole to John for free, and that They are charging Larry $17K a Day...He's kind of Squeezed....It's definitely a different experience

and the crackdown on Coolers is Draconian...:sifone: plus no Bikes on the Mole made carrying stuff in a pain.

Might have to bite the bullet and Migrate out to the Fort...of course that means getting there at around 8AM to set up in a good spot.

That Camera truck took up waaaaaaaay too much space...

I really enjoyed the coverage this year. I only was able to watch on Sunday. But that was perfect from my living room. It is much cheaper that way.

They were calling for high winds. Turned out beautiful and calm. I luv it when they are wrong and it turns out nice. Stood in the driveway with a cocktail and watched the sun set. Dam I miss summer.
