Yesterday Afternoon....I was picking the ball off the Mat cleanly with the 3 Wood.......Some Critter is eating My Foam Practice Balls:cuss:

That's why we practice but also why I hit my 5-iron. 2023 was the year of the 5-iron. I have a slow wood swing, but my irons are a little faster AND 1.5 inches longer that stock. Those longer shafts give me longer distances from my irons. I carry more than 200 with my 5 regularly. I only use my 4 for low punch outs.

There was a Time...around 1990...That I was completely terrified of My Driver....I used a Cleveland #1 iron for the Summer off of the Tee.

My Hybrid Irons are also 1.5 " longer than Standard.

If you are ever caught in a thunderstorm, hold up your #1 iron. That will keep you safe. Even God can't hit a 1 iron.

Little erratic off of the Tee Yesterday....Shortened the Rubber Tee by an inch......Maybe too much....Today's a new Day !!!!!
