I slept bad all week. Had MOHS surgery Monday (boater skin cancer tax) and have 16 stitches in the side of my face.

I was a big boy and did not cry. :USA:

Or ask for assistance from the American taxpayer.

S'posed to Rain all Day....Got to change the Oil in the Van.....and perhaps to swill some Beer......I hit Golf Balls in the Rain Yesterday....keeps the Mosquito's quiet...

If I posted pics, the part about not crying would be even more impressive. Lol.

Freaking wake up call. A very small dark spot appeared last summer. Didn't look like much. Almost wrote it off to age. But showed it to dermatologist in March and he said "Oh, ****." "No, it's ok. It's not the kind that kills you." Then I had a biopsy to prove it.
Then that small spot was a half day procedure and two layers of stitches covering three inches vertically on the side of my face.

The sun and I are now mortal enemies.

I know one of you guys have had this done. I remember stories but can't remember who the member was. There is somebody either on OSO or SOS that has had a BUNCH of these. :cuss:

At least it is a forward slash. That implies leaning into life. I wouldn't want a backwards slash. That's too laid back.

I have been making up stories for what happened. One of the favorites so far is "Voldemort got me."
Another is "Tried bull riding once. Didn't like it." And then there is "That's where the ugly stick hit me."
Or "I'm trying to get the lead in the Danny Trejo story."

Terri just had one on her arm this year. And they removed 3 lymph nodes as well.

Thankfully, all of the biopsies show negative in the tests of the nodes and the surrounding tissue.

Father in-law had a skin graft on his bridge of his nose this spring. My wife has beat it in my head for years to put sun block on. Sometimes I forget. The Center Console is nice. The top gives me some protection.

They call the procedure the Mohs surgery that my father in-law had. Maybe graft is the wrong word.

I'd rather wear a Hat....Some of these Sunscreens have been linked to Cancer....I think a lot of it is from how much Sun You had as a Kid.
