It's usually brutally hot in Downtown KW in July....I used to go to every event 20 years ago....Now I'm Old and Bitter....and could probably compete in the Hemingway look alike Competition
We can take you to the Hemingway cabin on Walloon lake for a drink. Our old neighbor inherited it. She is really nice, her husband is a gas machine. We have been there once.

I always found it interesting that two out of six remaining post hos live very close to the two ends of Hemingway's world.

Looks like Kid Rock likes to get jet fuel in Charlevoix. He never stays long.
His jet was in Charlevoix: 7/21 4:12PM to 5:01PM. Next stop was Nashville. (Home)
Friday 7/19: 12:59AM to 1:16AM. Next stop was Oakland County
And on and on. He spends like 20 minutes at the Charlevoix airport every few days.
It's a CL60 with American Badass on the side. And a hand giving the middle finger on the tail.

His Mother still lives between Horton Bay and Charlevoix. I think I posted his Father passed this spring. The celebration of live for him is a week from Sunday. I have been asked to bring a couple antique cars to Charlevoix for the service.

Maybe he has an account at the Charlevoix airport and it's easier to fuel there. It's less than 90 minutes to Nashville in that, I think.

I was watching the outbound Milwaukee jet traffic and caught N71KR leaving Milwaukee at 11:15PM headed for Charlevoix. Was there.... 19 minutes. No matter where he flies, he usually stops in Charlevoix.

Yeah. He rapped a bunch of his lyrics from different songs with "Trump" and "fight" mixed in over the riff from Metallica's "Sad but True." For a few minutes. It was a cheerleading type warm up thing. With prompters. He didn't do any of his songs, there was no band. Just a backup track with background raps on it.
