The first annual Powerquest Fun Run would start in Grand Haven, Michigan at the Municiple Marina and leave about 10:00 AM for a run to Holland, Michigan for lunch at Boatwerks. Lunch arrival is planned for 11:30 AM. Then, after lunch, the group would be running back to a stop at the sand bar in Port Sheldon for a couple of drinks. Then, back to Grand Haven for dinner at Old Boys Brew House or 22 Below.

Plan to meet in Grand Haven in front of Municipal Docks around 9:30 and leave for Boatwerks in Holland for lunch. Event has been planned with Boatwerks GM.
From Holland we will leave and head back to Port Sheldon... Raft off and socialize..
Everyone will coming back to Grand Haven for the night, many have slips around the area, including 12 at the wharf.
Will likely break up for dinner as we have too many people.
Some may get together on Sunday and head to Muskegon if possible.

Right now 28 - 100% Confirmed, 36 total with people that are 80%, and maybe up to 50 if everyone who has expressed interest shows.

Of the 28, 26 are PQ's... Goal is to let anyone come but try to get as much PQ together as possible.

Hey Everyone.... Slight change in plans for those that will be out in Grand Haven this Saturday... We are going to leave at 10AM Sharp from in front of the Municipal Marina and head to Boatwerks for Lunch. After Lunch we will head back to Spring lake and raft off in Smith's Bayou for the day... Hope to see some fun boats, and just waiting on the weather to see what Lake Michigan will have to throw at us....

Current NOAA forecast is calling for 40% afternoon thunderstorms and 2' or less wave height.

Pigeon Lake has much clearer water than Smith's Bayou....

Looks like Serious will be trying to hook up with the boats coming down around Port Sheldon and Pete Boden will be with us in Darryl's Scarab shooting the boats coming down from Grand Haven and then after lunch going back. Darryl's Scarab to watch for:

The weather turned out better than the forecast. Sunny in Holland at the beginning, but the fog in Grand Haven when the boats cleared the pierhead was dense. Some turned around, some followed other boats with radar, but most continued on south to the Holland rendezvous.

On the way out of Holland saw a sweet Pershing.

Then on out the channel. Not many boats out yet.

The plan was to hook up with the boats coming south somewhere around Port Sheldon around a half mile or so offshore.

First boat by we could get a decent shot of. Some came by way offshore, some were closer in so it was hard to shoot them all.

Next boat by close enough.
