Pray for me!!!

Once you got the little paper.. very rare that anyone really cares, what was your grade. After a few years NO ONE cares. As far as tests.. I offer a little story. In grade school I was C student.. A very smart C student.. :leaving:
At every test I was worrying about my grade.. about my Dad,, about the other guys who always gets the A's.
Once I got a high F or a low D and I was afraid to go home. Eventually I sort of sneaked into the house, and I got trouble for being late and not telling anyone where I was. I was in real trouble but my Dad told me this.

Test are a measurements of how one performers at THAT particular time. It does not represent your knowledge, or understanding the subject matter. You have a bad day.. forget it.. Fight with your GF,? You mind as well hand in the paper blank.. Girls on the rag? Hopeless. Can’t get your mind off form the babe two seats down with the nipples popping out form a loose knit sweater…. Automatic F.. (Sorry ladies,, happened to me.. a low D’’)
I always knew my history and the dates, at test time I had no clue who is whom and what date what happened. I could argue with Einstein all day,, when I did a math quiz.. I couldn't add 2+2. So my Dad says.: Don't study to pass the test.. Don't take the test for a grade.. Study for the knowledge and take the test as a passing of time, since there is nothing you can or need to do during the test period. Don't worry about the grade as long as you know your stuff. After that little lecture, I was always relaxed during tests, (I know I won't get in trouble) I got a scholarship into a priv. high school and a full ride in Collage. I did learn a lot in High school "how to take tests" but once I was relaxed and didn't worry about it.. I never had problems… Food for thought kids….

Excellent advice. For the most part I am not one to worry about tests and exams. It might sound weird but I sort of enjoy writing some essays depending on the topic. I wrote one essay this semester about tourism to Florida (presented my first topic about poker runs and boat shows in Floridan but that didn't fly) and another about World War II and I found both topics to be extremely interesting. I originally started university wanting to be a lawyer, but switched into geography and GIS, although I don't think I will ever persue it, it is definitely some neat stuff.

I think I am going to go ahead and get a Phd from the instant place. I wonder if I get a discount for having a real bachelors? ;)
