Reminiscing

CNN has been tracking debates since 1984. Their results.

Of the debate watchers polled immediately afterwards, 67% declared the Governor the winner while 25% thought the President won. According to CNN Polling Director, Keating Holland: "No presidential candidate has topped 60% in that question since it was first asked in 1984."

Oh goodness, do you know what that means .
I can only tell you what it means too me (moo my own opinion) Absofyckinlootly nothin.
Toto, were not in Kansaw anymore.
We're in deep ship, either one of these clowns in office,= more irreparable damage. i cannot see how this or any other country could survive, so many mistakes / illgotten plots for personal advancement. so to speak, I'm still with youz for now, but i still don't expect much from either one of these azzwholes. JMO.

They're both boneheads...but I think Romney is the lesser of two evils. But Owebama still has the sh*tbag vote....

Neither one is a "bonehead."
Both are very accomplished people, who have made a lot of good decisions to get where they are.
One is comfortable in that place. One is unprepared for it.

Apparently hundreds of board meetings prepare a man for public speaking better than community organizer meetings.
And that's not "fair." Can we get a teleprompter under affirmative action? One fella needs some help to compete.
He needs help so that "people like him and Michelle" can catch a break. (His words, not mine.)

I expect a lot from Romney if he wins. I can only base that on his past accomplishments, but at least he has some accomplishments.

Sometime, if you haven't already, read Obama's two books. If you believe he has completely changed since he wrote them, so be it, but I don't.

i'm just gonna stay off my soapbox for awhile longer BUT... I'm not interested in evolving the U.S. into a European style social democracy......

Let's goooooo Mormans , (I think) I don't think this country needs a hole hell ofa lot of change, at the moment, what it does need is a more direct route (imo) to the finish line, to close this particular chapter.
Starting today I'm going to try to be a little more positive on the subject, may be. Make that after today.
At the moment I'm still trying to convince ourselves that the wouldbe higher powers / chosen ones do not actually want the R word.

True Fund, bullsitters/hustlers do indeed need to intelligent/ accomplished to be semi-successful, but so do used car salesmen.

Here's a good reason to get out there and vote!

Feeling like a winner
Feeling like a winner may also spur you to vote. A 2010 study published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggested that people who backed winning college basketball teams were more likely to vote for the incumbent in Senate, gubernatorial or presidential elections. Backing a winner may not only get people to the polls, it may also make them friskier: Google searches for pornography surged in states that backed the winning presidential candidate in 2004 and 2008. Seeing your candidate lose, however, could be a libido-killer: Men who voted for challenger John McCain in the 2008 election saw their testosterone levels dip when he lost, according to a study detailed in 2010 in the journal PLoS One.

There's just one Supreme Court Justice standing between 0 and the Heller case.
One more judge, and we'll be handing him our guns.
Our grandkids will never own firearms in their lifetime.
