From the boats owner:
Long story short, our boat sank. One of the girls puked and as they were cleaning up too many people shifted weight to the back and down she went. None of us got hurt, thank God. Never gonna forget it that's for sure.

I'm thinking when the girl puked, everyone ran to the opposite side on the boat. I'm guessing with a large shift like that, the boat started rocking a bit and with all those people in the stern thats when the water started coming in. They probably didn't notice until it was too late.
