Earlier today we put the Skater 308, in the water at me lift in the Myakka River. We went out the river, South through Charlotte Harbor, West towards Boca Grande Pass, and the slightly South in the inside of Cayo Costa, anchoring up in 2-3feet of water about half way between Pelican Bay and Boca Grande Pass.

Round Trip was a total of 51.8 miles. We burned 22.9 gallons of 93 octane for a avg MPG of 2.3.

It was crazy hot again today, the water is in the 90s.

Here is a like to the 19 pictures I took.

and i see the lower units are holding up now since we did that little trick to the bottom

Thay trick we did together and the Throttle Up, 4 blade, CNC cleaver, over hub props, and the setup changes I made, well put them all together and problem solved.

If there is a speed limit in the Myakka (which I doubt), I guess I break it every time I go out.

Here is an idea, trailer down to the public ramp just before the Boca Grands Causeway bridge, and it is a short (reasonanlt protected) ride down Gasparilla Sound, to any number of real nice destinations.

Looks good,

That is a pretty neat trick ya did with the ladder, I gotta do something for mine, sick of climbing up the trim tab to get in and out.

Yes, the boat is pretty high off the water, without the ladder, you are not getting back in.

The back of mine has some really nice curves, so going that way is proplematic. I worry about some getting to close to the props or slipping into them (test are crazy sharp), so the side of the boat seemed like the best option, ugly but works.
