Michigan police sergeants charged with armed robbery

Notoriano's 16-year-old daughter and a friend bicycled to a Detroit gas station on July 20. Dwayne Weathington, 24, of Detroit grabbed Notoriano's daughter by her backpack, threw her to the ground, stole her iPhone and fled on foot, the Wayne County prosecutor's office said in a statement.

The phone was traced to a location on Detroit's east side where Pomeroy and Notoriano drove on July 21 and confronted three Detroit men, ages 26, 27 and 28, at gunpoint, prosecutors said.

The officers retrieved the girl's iPhone, struck one of the men in the face and took a handgun, cash and marijuana, prosecutors said.

My friend has a European car repair shop and car dealers license. In the 90's I rented space next door to his shop and used his car dealer license to sell some cars. Friend drove a VW GTI at the time. It had leather sports seats in it. One night we hit the strip clubs in one of my cars. When we got back the space his was parked in was covered in glass but no car. Called the police but they almost laughed at us. So we went looking for the car ourselves and found it with two guys stripping parts in an alley. We called the cops and held the two guys. We ended up spending more time in the police station then they did. Got the car back and the only thing missing was the seats. A few cops got their cars fixed at the shop and we told two under cover cops the story. Friend missed his seats. The two under covers phoned the station and got the address of the two thieves. Few hours later they returned with the seats. Still don't know how they got them back but my friend didn't charge them for their auto repair.

Mr. Washington is damn lucky that he and his "associates" got to see the light of another day

They found them at a gas station in the light of day. That may have made the difference.

They were in plainclothes, but wearing their shields. The mistake was not bringing a marked car and arresting them. Somewhere between the stop and the station, they may have "resisted."

Need to have a Canadian language translation button for sarcasm and innuendo's....

I'm still thinking it's English derived from the Latin, as a lot of the romance languages are.

It's just not Canadian derived from the English from the latin.....
