Sunday Motorcycle Drag Racing

My son had a good Sunday at the track. This was the first drag race of the year for Texas Motorcycle Drag Racing Association. It was an 1/8th mile drag race at Houston Motorsports Track. He won his division, V-Rod stock, and placed second overall for King of the Cash bracket racing. He may have set an association track record for his class. He finished the mods to the bike just in time.

Nice V-Rod 1/8th mile how fast did he run??

His best time is 6.80 @ 99mph. His V-Rod has the smaller motor, too.

My son's bike is an '03 also. Used to be my bike. He has done a lot of work to it. Nothing in the engine, but different wheels, shocks, air shifter, converted to chain drive. Designed and built everything himself. It is pretty cool. He has pizzed off most of the other V-Rod drivers in his class. Even with the bigger, newer motors they can't run with him. He is also a very good rider.
