Old Dogs - 2 beers...Travolta and Williams were probably funnier off-screen than on. And not enough Kelly Preston. More of that formula thing Chris is talking about.
Up in the Air - 2 and a half - just a little bit weird but with a couple pretty girls. Plus a kick in the balls kinda surprise...if you're into that kind of thing.
I begrudgingly saw "I'm Out Of Her League" on Sunday night. Glad I did.
I went in thinking it would be just another romantic comedy based on the same tired formula. Worse even, it appeared to be aimed at the younger crowd so I figured it would be full of thet rruly mindless humor most of those movies rely on. I was pleasantly surprised. There was a little of that but not so much that it was distracting. Only one scene I can think of where they took it beyond what would have been necessary- to the point that it stood out. But overall the story and charachters were very relateable.
Sure I am the last person to see AVATAR but it was still kick ass even with all the namby pamby liberal tree hugging bullsh*t. I would have f*cked that giant girl(badly) also:sifone:
Inglorious Basterds....or should I say basturds.....what a boring lame ass movie....here is a hint, If you are going to have subtitles in yellow......do not put a yellow background behind them.... 5 minutes of action and 2 hours of dripping faucets...3 beers down.
The Wreck of the Mary Deare......Heston and Cooper (1959) good movie and special effects for the era, didn't follow the book too closely though (Hammond Innes, good read)
3 beers, would have been 4, but it just ended abruptly.
KICK ASS kicked ass.......I'm still laughing an hour later......who doesn't laugh when they here an 11 year old girl call people C U N TS ! then kills them.....
