It's that time of year, BOOKS

I also have good things to say about the Seloc Yamaha outboard manual that I have. And that the so called Distopia of Huxley's Brave New World really sounds quite pleasant when you think about it.

went to the KW library today......no speed kills......but found it on amazon for 14 bucks

"speed kills" is a tough read - I bought a used copy on Amazon a few years ago.
It gives another perspective of Don's death.
It tended to jump back and forth from the people involved, and I found it hard to keep track of "who did what"
You'll understand as you read it.
It's certainly worth the read, but a difficult one.

I found Speed Kills a difficult read.

In a roundabout way yes. Deals with Drug cartels in the late 70's and the islands.

I am 1/2 way through Speed Kills. After reading Blue Thunder which raised questions and then provided answers/even if hypothetical you felt like it got resolved. SK is a book of excerpts, changing subjects frequently with no real conclusions given. Lots of unnecessary details that don't add to the story.

Great thread Tim

Speed Kills is an old book. I believe I read that 15+ years ago. A lot of sketchy speculation due to being written shortly after Don"s death.
I think more details were known by the time Blue Thunder was written.

Is Turning the Tide kinda tied in with Blow?
