Canadian Music ......

seen Head and Wilcox 'GOT ME IN THE UUNNION, IM PAYIN" MY DUES!!on a boat cruising around Toronto harbour on seperate dates....wild!!!.....surprised nobody fell overboard......Frankies dead you know.....just seen them in Osh about a yr ago.....sad......."MY KNEES ARE SHAKIN" AND I HURT ALOT!!!......been to many a Goddo show although memories are ....ahem......sketchy.........Hip......what needs to be said?.....if you dont think they re awesome your not a Canadian......nuff said......go out to my truck and you'll find all 4 of those bands CDs in there right now....oh and Jeff Healy too......April Wine can play 3 min hits for 2 straight hours and Kim isnt far off......he's into boats too.......heard him on the radio talking about how it doesnt get any better than being out on a Scarab or Baja on a sweltering hot summer day with hot chicks and the tunes cranked......Im like Whoa!...cool!.....HANGOVER!!!......you guys forgot the Guess Who...These Eyes and American Woman come to mind and Running back to Saskatoon.....and I love Stompin Tom......the guy flat out Rocks......parents took me to a concert when I was about 11....he burned that joint down!.....still like him.....BIG size FRENCH fries!!......doug

Bout time. Your embarrassing us Canadians. I never heard of half of these guys you mention, Hans. I know, your just making it all up !! LOL :)

For those that do not know Hans, he was in the music industry in New York and I have enjoyed listening first hand to some of his experiences. Very entertaining and enlightening to say the least. :)

I think pat travers opened for every band I went to see in the eighties, I must have seen him live ten times from 79-81,

Actually it was Hans that made me aware of this thread when speaking to him yesterday.

Snow ? Ya we got a bit in Waterloo. We were lucky in getting only 3 inches when they got a whole lot more than that to the north and west of us. Lake Huron lake effect I guess. I"m outta here Wed to where there is lots of turkey and no snow. :)

Ok, here I am...Bob, looking forward to seeing you in a few days!

I totally forgot about Coney Hatch....Their first record was pretty awesome.

There's just been so much great Canadian music, it hard to know where to start and stop....
